Embark on your path towards the retirement you want with four straightforward steps. At each stage, we’ll give you the confidence, clarity and control you need to attain your goals.

Get in touch

1. Discovery – Getting to know you.

The journey starts with an introductory conversation where we explore your aspirations, current situation, and any potential obstacles. This complimentary discussion allows us to tailor a financial plan that matches your goals and timelines. We value this opportunity to understand you, align our strategies with your retirement vision, and address any queries you may have about our planning process.

2. Design – Your financial plan.

When you work with us, we start by gathering information about your current financial situation. Our team conducts a thorough analysis and crafts a customised financial plan tailored to you. This includes optimising tax and retirement strategies. We’ll also review protection policies to safeguard your family’s financial well-being, giving you peace of mind.

3. Deliver – Bringing your financial plan to life.

Once you receive your financial plan, you have options. You can take action yourself or entrust us with implementation. If you choose our support, we’ll handle everything. Relax knowing our help will ensure the most suitable strategies bring your plan to life.

4. Review – Keeping you on track.

Life is unpredictable. When you work with us, we will arrange periodic reviews, ensuring your plan stays in sync with your evolving situation and goals. Changes in your personal circumstances, taxation, or legislation, will be reflected in our planning. Your financial well-being is our priority, and we’re committed to keeping your plan up-to-date and relevant.

Clients appreciate our straightforward process in helping them get in better control of their financial situation.

How long does the process typically take?

There’s no set timescale for financial planning. Often there are delays whilst we await financial information from you or your existing providers. In an ideal world we would expect to complete our work in 6 – 8 weeks, but more complex situations can take longer.

Am I obliged to engage with your service after the discovery session?

Our discovery session is a no-obligation meeting at our expense. This is an opportunity for you to outline your financial situation and for us to explain how we might be able to help you. It’s also a meeting to discover whether we’re a ‘right fit’ for each other. At the end of the meeting you don’t have to engage with us if you don’t want to.

Can I move my portfolio from another provider to Yellowtail?

If at the end of the financial planning process we both agree that there would be a benefit to continuing the relationship you may choose to move your investments under our care. Part of our planning will determine whether this is in your best interests, and we’ll let you know the pros and cons.

How does your pricing work?

Our pricing policy is clear and straightforward and before we start doing any work on your behalf we will tell you exactly how much you’ll pay for our services.  We will only proceed once we’ve agreed the costs.

We have a fixed fee for the financial planning depending on the complexity of your financial situation and our pricing model details how this works. If you continue to work with us there is a fixed percentage (0.65%) of the assets you hold with us, which is capped.
